 10) Ensuring adequate food stockpiles of quality and preservation of the quality of the stock; 

 11) Food budget, accounting and financial management, food planning, research and related issues;

 12) Ensuring minimum price of produce for foodgrain producers;

 13) Inquiry and review of any matter entrusted to the Department of Food.
